Jan brings over 25 years of senior-level experience across the Commercial Aviation and Aircraft Leasing sectors, having held key positions at industry leaders such as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and AerCap, as well as advising airlines and leasing companies worldwide.
A recognized expert in aircraft transitions and asset management, Jan leads complex projects with full responsibility for the technical aspects of fleet transitions. His work spans the entire lifecycle—from due diligence and lease negotiations through repossessions, redeliveries, and MRO/GTA negotiations—ensuring seamless execution while supporting commercial, legal, and marketing teams.
Since 2013, Jan has operated independently, partnering with airlines and lessors to deliver high-value advisory and project management services. He is known for combining deep technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset, enabling clients to navigate complex transactions with confidence.
Prior to this, Jan served as Vice President Technical at debis AirFinance / AerCap (2004–2012), where he was responsible for project and asset management across a diverse Asia-Pacific fleet—driving strategic initiatives in one of the aviation industry’s most dynamic regions.
Jan began his career at KLM (1988–2003), where he held a variety of engineering and management roles, including positions in KLM Helicopters, KLM Cargo, and Fleet Management. This foundation provided him with hands-on operational insight that continues to underpin his work today.
Eric brings more than 35 years of hands-on experience in commercial aviation, combining deep technical expertise with a strong track record in aircraft engineering, asset management, and fleet transitions.
He began his career in 1984 at KLM Engineering & Maintenance, working as a Mechanical Engineer on Boeing 747 and DC‑9 heavy maintenance programmes. Building on this foundation, Eric progressed into systems engineering, serving as an APU Systems Engineer and Type Project Engineer for the A310 and Boeing 737 programmes. In this role, he was responsible for the specification, acceptance, and delivery of both new and used Airbus A310 aircraft, as well as new Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft. His career at KLM culminated in the position of Technical Fleet Manager for the Boeing 737 fleet, where he oversaw technical performance and fleet integrity at an operational level.
In 2000, Eric joined debis AirFinance / AerCap, where he played a key role in shaping the leasing standards for the Airbus A320 family by developing the A320 Lessor Baseline Specification. Over his tenure, he managed the customization, assembly, and delivery of more than 140 new A320 and A330 aircraft, ensuring alignment with both lessor and airline requirements.
In addition to new aircraft programmes, Eric has extensive experience in aircraft reconfiguration and transition projects, having managed over 100 cabin and system reconfiguration programmes following repossessions or lease-end events across Airbus A320, A330, and Boeing 737 fleets.
Since August 2016, Eric has been working independently, specializing in cabin reconfiguration projects and aircraft conversions, including support for the development of A321 passenger‑to‑freighter (P2F) conversion programmes. He is widely recognized for his ability to deliver complex technical projects with precision, efficiency, and a strong focus on value creation.
